Precious memories, recorded on Super-8, can meet even the highest demands of new media at fair rates! Synchro Film - equiped with state-of-the-art technology of the film and television industry - provides high quality film scanning of Super-8 films on DVD, Blu-ray, hard drive or any other digital media. The transfer can either be performed in Standard Quality or full HD.




Method



First of all, each of your treasures on Super-8 is subjected to quality control. Long storage and frequent use can lead to damage and dirt on the filmstock, which can be cleaned if necessary. If also required, scratches and scuffs can be digitally removed later during the process. When the material is prepared and ready, the next step is the "Telecine" - the professional film scanning. "Telecine" refers to a frame-by-frame scanning of the super-8 film at high resolution and then re-assembling the images to a digital video image in HD quality. The process is accompanied by an experienced operator to ensure a safe and professional handling of your raw material.
